Many penny-shaped cracks

We consider an infinite elastic body which contains an array of 4 $ \times$ 4 $ \times$ 4 (=64) penny-shaped cracks (total DOF=72192) of the same radius $ a_0$ when $ k_Ta_0=3$. The centres of these cracks are located regularly at the interval of $ 4 a_0$ in all the coordinate directions. The directions of these cracks are taken at random. The whole system is subjected to the same incident field as in the previous example. The required CPU time to solve this problem was 7548(sec). The real parts of the crack opening displacements are plotted in Fig.2.
